This is what God commands...that we love each other. 1 John 3:23
Do you get a bad taste in your mouth when confronted with people who you know are doing wrong, but still blatantly do it?
John urges us to "rely on the love God has for us." 1 John 4:16
God wants me to love all people, no matter how wrong I think they are in their words and actions. No matter how much I "bristle" when I'm around them. But how can I do that? How can I love people I don't agree with or who have wronged me in the past? How can I simply love everybody? How can I? I want to do that because that is what God wants me to do. But how can I?
"By living loved," says Max Lucado.
Does that speak volumes to anybody else?
If I live as though I am loved, I can love.
Can I do that?
