Faith, Trust and Believing

Ya know, it's all based on faith. If you say you are saved, you've done it by faith. You have faith that Christ lives in your heart. If you pass a hardship in life, a test in life, with your faith intact, your faith has grown stronger.

Faith is such a big thing. It is believing in the unseen.

You've just gotta believe and keep the faith.

But in that aspect, I've also got real, tangible things to grab hold of in my journey through life that has helped to build my faith.

God has been evident in my life. Looking back, I can see Him there. Albeit at the time, I had no idea He was there, looking over me.

When I was at my absolute lowest point in my life, He was there. He prevented further damage from being done.

When I was really saved for the first time, my prayer had been answered. I just didn't really realize it at the time. But it was an answer to my prayer.

But the most tangible, real thing that has made my faith grow stronger was when the Holy Spirit touched me. And I mean He really touched me. He physically touched me behind my ears, all throughout my face and all along my arms to my hands. I felt such a tingling power running through my body. But I also realize that it was barely a pin prick from His Almighty power. If that was just a very miniscule touch from the Holy Spirit, I can only imagine what His glorious power is really like.

And that's how I guage the presence of the Holy Spirit...I can feel it tingling behind my ears now. Because that was how He first touched me. So, if you see me in church rubbing behind my ears, you know that I'm feeling His Almighty presence.

I'm trusting God to do what He has promised me.

I have faith in God, Christ and the Holy Spirit.

How 'bout you?
