God is way more patient with me than I am with myself. I have been known to assume when I fall, that I question my salvation. If I stumble, then I'm not truly saved. If I have old desires from my past, then I am not truly a new creation.
But you know what, I now recognize those whisperings in my ear. I now recognize those whisperings as originating from the devil.
I AM A CHILD OF GOD and satan can no longer steal that joy from me! I AM SAVED AND I AM A NEW CREATION!! God will not turn His back on me! He never did in the past, but I believed the devil. But now I'm getting grounded in the Word and now I know not to believe his lies!
"God began doing a good work in me, and He will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again" (Phil 1:6). That promise is not a lie. It originates from God Himself and I believe that promise!
