Okay, I've gotta relate a couple of things that have happened to me over the past two weeks.
About a week and a half ago:
I try to go out on my back deck every morning (time permitting) to praise, worship and pray to my God.
Almost every time, I inevitably end up on my knees and more often than not, I end up lying on my stomach. I love my God very dearly and I try to put my whole soul into my worship of Him.
Well, this particular morning, I went out on the back deck and it was wet. We have outdoor carpet on our back deck and I think it had rained sometime during the night. I could feel the water squishing between my toes.
My immediate thought when I went out on the back deck was, "I really don't want to get my clothes wet today because I've got to run errands as soon as I'm finished."
But I started praising and worshipping and praying. And before you knew it I was on my knees! And then I ended up in the prone position.
Immediately, I could feel the water soaking through my clothes. But I didn't care. I remained on my stomach and continued praying.
About 10 minutes later, I got up.
And my clothes were completely dry!
Talk about praising and worshipping Him...I jumped up and down and shouted to the world! Can't help but whooping and hollaring when you've had an obvious display of God's power evident right in front of your eyes!
Another thing:
Yesterday morning, same situation...I go out on my back deck to praise and worship Him.
But this time, I immediately went down on my stomach and started praying in the Spirit.
And I immediately started laughing. I mean it started out as a deep down in your belly laugh. And I could not stop. I laughed and laughed and laughed so hard. I absolutely could not stop laughing. I laughed so hard for so long, that my stomach muscles started aching and my cheek muscles started hurting. I laughed for 20 minutes at the top of my voice and with the deepest of my spirit!
John John was outside laughing with me. He thought I was playing a game and he started jumping over me.
I don't think I've ever laughed for so hard for so long! It was so uplifting to my spirit!
I was filled with so much joy from the Holy Spirit that I could not contain myself!
I needed that!
Just thought I'd share!
