I've got an....

...itsy, bitsy yellow polka dot sock eater in my laundry! That's my conclusion that I've come to, anyways! Look at that pile of mismatched socks!

And I can't throw a mismatched sock away! I've also come to the conclusion that if the sock can't be found in the laundry, it will turn up underneath beds, crammed in toys, underneath couches, underneath pillows and blankets on the bed...I've also found them in the fridge and in the trash can! They can turn up anywhere at all! So, when I eventually do find them, I will still have the other matching sock!

But, alas, in my endeavor to be thrifty and hold onto all my mismatched socks, my pile is ever growing bigger and bigger! Wonder how many sock puppets I can make??!!

My pile is bigger than your pile! I wish I could post a picture in this comments section to show you. We currently have two laundry baskets of unmatched socks. I told Scott this morning that tonight we need to have a "sock party."
There are other uses for mismatched socks. Dust rags for little hands. You can cut the tops off and they become great hats for crafted snowmen. Ask Lola.
I'm right there with ya on beig thrifty and keeping them.

Btw, I can't throw them away either and my pile is now in two plastic grocery bags... :(!
