COLORADO!If I had my druthers, we would be traveling in a Volkswagon Bus, pulling a little travel trailer behind us! Now, that would be stylin'! But, alas, we will be taking our camping vehicle pulling our hillbilly camper behind us!
We are leaving early in the morning on May 24 and headin' west! We will be gone until June 2!
As is typical on our family vacations, we will be driving by the seat of our pants...meaning wherever our little hearts tell us to go once we get headed in the westwardly direction, that will be where we end up for the day! We would (or I should say, "I would") like to see a little bit of the Grand Canyon! But we will see if we can fit that into our time frame!
It's always a big deal in our family to pick out our family vacation spot for the summer! This go around, my husband was really pushing Colorado, so that's where we are planning on going! A couple of years ago, I just placed my finger on a United States map and landed at Galveston, TX! And that's where we went for that summer! That vacation was a little bit stressful and hectic for me because I was still nursing John John. Can you imagine me out of my seat belt, bent over the car seat, nursing a baby?! That's what I did for a majority of the trip! It didn't matter that I didn't have my seat belt on as long as the baby was strapped down in his car seat! I bet it was quite the sight for the Average Joe driving along the highway beside us!

I just got a visual that won't leave my head anytime soon! That is too funny!!! I've nursed four babies and I can say, that's a new one for me! I've nursed in a lot of strange places, but not too many strange positions.

Scott is worried about "Twix." (He couldn't remember the dog's name). He is afraid something big and mean will get him while you're gone. Do you have a pen?
